We love this tournament! Elizabeth Rothstein and her team at the synagogue have been so successful at putting together a great event. The tournament offers 8 rounds of fast play, plentiful and delicious breakfast and lunch with homemade treats to further entice, spacious and comfortable tournament and dining rooms, and many prizes for high tournament scores and also ones for special hand and high round. And the players are just lovely! We have come to know so many people through tournament play and we enjoy connecting with them, catching up, and making plans to attend future tournaments.
What a great way to spend a day!!
BTW...be carful what you say in the ladies room during a tournament. The Mah Jongg world is relatively small and conversations overheard are often about people that other players know.
Before I close this out, just a question…when you are at a tournament do you play more offensively or more defensively that you do at home?? Thanks in advance for sharing.
